05:09:09 - Sandi Thom @ Cusworth Park

Sandi Thom burst onto the popular music scene in 2006 with a series of 21 live performances broadcast for free on the internet. On the first night only 70 people tuned into watch, by the following week more than 70,000 people were watching and listening. Her sensational, expressive voice earned her a record contract that was quickly followed by a singles chart hit ‘ I wish I was a Punk Rocker’ and a number 1 selling album.

Sandi Thom was born in Scotland in 1981 and has to date sold over a million albums worldwide. We are delighted to welcome her to headline Live at Cusworth. In partnership with Higher Rhythm, Sandi will be supported by three of the regions most promising new bands - The Beaus, Darren Bell and Ross Cameron and the Horsemen.

Concert area open to ticket holders only from 5pm. Support acts from 6pm onwards.

  1. Sandi Thom? yea her voice may have well earned her a record contract... which only lasted two years, she was dumped this year because she flopped in everything else she has released since that first single, oh and the figures for the webcast were disproved long ago as a publicity stunt

  2. Decent enough voice i suppose but im more interested in the Local bands,Wouldnt cross the road to see her otherwise, and the ticket price needs to be kept low because i cant imagine many people paying out to watch Sandi Thom
