Profile: Kiziah & The Kings

Described as a band with essential elements from soul, rock, reggae, pop and blues, Doncaster's own Kiziah and the Kings deserve your attention.

Frontwoman Kiziah's big soulful voice evokes the sounds of past legends and is on full display on Baby Don't Go, their current single, which shows they have the energy and groove to match strong melody.

An appearance on Look North and support of well backed Californians The Like aside, a deeper delve into Kiziah & The Kings's material reveals virtuosity as well as variety - elements which surely mean more recognition in 2011.

Baby Don't Go is available from Amazon and iTunes and a series of gigs are currently being planned - these are ones to keep an eye on!

They have developed their own commercial rock sound with accessible lyrics and a strong melodic hooks which aim to make rock DJs think again before giving airplay to another major label, million dollar artist; instead, their listeners can enjoy genuine, self crafted songs by a band devoted to its love for music.
