Big name Manchester DJs Flip 'n' Fill are heading to Mexborough for a club night later this month.
The duo - real names Mark Hall and Graham Turner - have had hit singles independently and together under different names before achieving success in their current guise.
Look out for Armour for Hearts at this gig. According to their myspace, they make "body shiftin punk by mixing grunge, pop and funk" (paraphrased). I think they're very promising. Their video is on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIvrNFaOsys.
Performing arts students will be showing off their version of hit Broadway show ‘Seussical’ at High Melton in June.
The National Diploma Dance and Drama students will be performing the musical, which is based on the works of Dr Seuss, at the campus’ Harvey Theatre on June 3 (7pm), 4 (1pm, 7pm) and 5 (1pm, 7pm).
Tickets, costing £5 for adults and £3.50 for concessions, can be obtained by telephoning the college.
