This weekend at The Trolleybus Museum in Sandtoft there is a Teddy Bears Picnic.
The museum is open from 11am-5pm, and last admission is at 4pm.
There will be lots to see and do, including:
- A selection of trolleybuses in operation
- Cafe selling hot and cold refreshments and sandwiches
- 1960's shop window displays
- Motorbus tours
- Digital presentations in the Lecture Theatre
- 1950's/60's Prefab
- Trolleybus simulator
- Trolleybus displays
- Souvenir shop
- Nature trail
- Childrens playground
- Teddy bear treasure hunt
- Best dressed Teddy bear competition
- Quizzes and colouring in
Children accompanied by their Teddy bear receive FREE admission.
All Trolleybus rides are FREE.

LOOKING AHEAD…
Tuesday 19 sees the start of the Garage Bar’s Battle of the
Bands, Wednesday 20 sees the return of the fortnightly Farmers Market on Goose
Hill and an evening heritage walk from the TIC. Thursday sees the legendary
Kenny Ball & his Jazzmen visit the Civic Theatre. Friday has a free
lunchtime organ recital at the Minster, no fewer than seven live bands at the
Vintage Rock Bar and Guns or Roses playing at the Leopard. Saturday 20 boasts a
film festival at the Little Theatre, a 20th anniversary gig by
Tobias at the Hallcross, the Hummingbirds Blues Band at Cask Corner, Hostage
Rescue Team + support at the VRB and Doyle & the Fourfathers at the
Leopard.

14/06/12 - CATWALK OF IMAGINATION, CROWN HOTEL, BAWTRY (7PM)
'Catwalk of Imagination' is a fabulous fashion show in aid of children's charity Pure Imagination featuring the designs available from many of the Borough's finest boutiques, including the town centre's Precious Dresses.
Items can be purchased on the evening. Yin Yang Therapies will be on hand on the evening to inform you of there amazing pamper packages available to make you feel incredible for the races and there will also be a very special performance from the Kitty Cats Burlesque troupe. There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes to be won. Mark Kelly from Sine FM will be hosting the evening.
Tickets are £5 for standard and £10 for VIP (which means seats closer to the catwalk and a glass of wine on entry). Tickets can be reserved and paid for on the night or as of next week will be sold in the participating boutiques and at the Crown Hotel.
