LOOKING AHEAD…
Tuesday 19 sees the start of the Garage Bar’s Battle of the
Bands, Wednesday 20 sees the return of the fortnightly Farmers Market on Goose
Hill and an evening heritage walk from the TIC. Thursday sees the legendary
Kenny Ball & his Jazzmen visit the Civic Theatre. Friday has a free
lunchtime organ recital at the Minster, no fewer than seven live bands at the
Vintage Rock Bar and Guns or Roses playing at the Leopard. Saturday 20 boasts a
film festival at the Little Theatre, a 20th anniversary gig by
Tobias at the Hallcross, the Hummingbirds Blues Band at Cask Corner, Hostage
Rescue Team + support at the VRB and Doyle & the Fourfathers at the
Leopard.
