"We are thrilled to welcome back Tango Siempre with an evening of virtuoso choreographed dance to the exquisite sound of 1930’s Bueno Aires – creating a breathtaking journey into the heart of Tango Argentino.

09:10:10 - Music in the Round - Ensemble 360 @ Priory Place Methodist Church
HAYDN Piano Trio in D minor
SAINT-SAËNS Sonata for Bassoon and Piano
WATKINS Horn Trio
BRAHMS Piano Quintet Op. 34
Ensemble 360 returns to the music of Huw Watkins after the world premiere and tour of Broken Consort three years ago. His Horn Trio, premiered by Benjamin Nabarro in 2009, is an equally impressive and beautiful work.
Amy Harman, Ensemble 360’s new bassoonist, performs Saint-Saëns’ cheerful Bassoon Sonata which he wrote in the final year of his life.
Like so many of his works, Brahms’s great F minor Piano Quintet caused him significant trouble. He originally conceived it as a String Quintet, then a Sonata for Two Pianos before alighting on this ingenious version.
Pre-Concert Talk, 6.30pm to 7pm
Tim Horton and Benjamin Nabarro discuss the music in tonight’s programme. Free to ticket holders
Concerts: £11 / £9 Concessions / £3 under 18s and students

04:04:10 - Twisted Wheel @ Priory
"Twisted Wheel have quickly earned themselves a reputation as one of the hardest working young touring bands around and also as the support band of choice (previously having gigged with Oasis, The Enemy, Ian Brown, The View, Pigeon Detectives, The Courteeners, Reverend & The Makers, Kasabian, The Rascals, The Coral & The Happy Mondays). This year sees them head off on a headline tour in May then support on several of Oasis' outdoor stadium shows and to open for Paul Weller on his outdoor forest tour this Summer.Mining the same rich seam as some of the UK’s greatest rock n roll bands such as The Clash, The Who and The Jam; and armed with a lyrical intensity to match Mark E Smith at his most pointed, comes Twisted Wheel. In twelve short months the Oldham three piece have gone from nothing to selling out 500 capacity shows in their home town, 300,000 views of their My Space site, and a record deal with Columbia Records. With songs that tell tales of unhinged northern street life, dripping with sardonic humour and reckless desperation, Twisted Wheel are taking their incendiary, compulsive, no holds barred, live set on another national tour this July.
